A free gift from your store could be a sample of a new product line you are launching. Customers might really love this new sample and come back to buy more of it. This is a standard practice in the cosmetics business.
How does Free Shipping goal work?
For Free Shipping goal to work, you just have to setup a discount as ‘Free Shipping’ and our App will do the rest when a customer reaches that goal.
What happens if a customer has crossed both Tier 1 (Free Shipping) and Tier 2 (20% discount)?
The customer gets a 20% discount on their total cart value and also gets Free Shipping on their order.
How does it help increase my store AOV?
When you nudge customers to just add that one extra product to get a reward (free shipping or gift), customers have a tendency to go that extra bit far to get that dopamine hit. And that will give a boost to your AOV.
How do I manage the free gift inventory?
Free Gifting has multiple options which are explained in detail in this post. The inventory has to be managed for all products and collections outside the Progress bar app.
What is the % discount applied when a customer reaches Tier 3 (30% discount) and has crossed both Tier 1 (10%) and Tier 2 (20%) ?
The highest tier discount% (30% in this case) is applied to the entire cart value.
How is ‘Free Gift’ displayed in the Cart?
Free Gifting has multiple options which are explained in detail in this post. For the options: ‘Fixed gift for all customers’, ‘Pick a gift from pop-up’ and ‘Pick a gift from the collection’ the respective product is shown in the cart with 0 value and with a tag ‘Free Gift’. Mystery Gift does not show up as a new product added in the cart.
